Biography of Allan Mac Donald

Biography since the arrival

Allan arrived in the nineteenth century in January of 1806 Wearing little more than his scooby-doo t-shirt, jeans, a warm coat, and his blue hair he had trek his way to a local fishing village where he managed to steal a large over coat and hat to conceal his unusual attire. Luckily he quickly found out where and when he was and that he was not alone. Utilizing the laptop that had made the transition back in time with him he quickly discovered there was an already established community of time displaced people like himself.

At first introductions were clumsy, and names and locations were exchanged. Luckily for Allan a ship bearing a cargo of recently invented phonographs with a heading of London England. His contacts with earlier travelers had led him to accept the invitation of one Richard Williams in Cardiff Wales. Williams had by this time amassed with his wife fellow uptimer Lady Catherine James Williams a sizeable fortune and a good deal of prestige. The trip over at first stopped at London so that Allan could stay at the London townhouse to get his bearings in the nineteenth century. The first forays into London society of the time was somewhat clumsy and misinformed. It took all the inner strength the collected uptimers had to keep from laughing at these initial attempts at chrono engineering.

Luckily after awhile the Williams decided to take pity on the poor soul and take him to their Cardiff mansion Lisvane, and teach him the ways of the era. Here he spent several intense months learning the rules of the day, also he was introduced to many of the right people. Amongst them several other uptimers who happened to be hanging about Britain, and the surrounding
environ.

After several months Allan asked Richard for a loan to exploit some of the native mineral resources of Cape Breton, following a supply run boarded a ship to the new world. Finally arrives back at Sydney harbour on Sept 3rd of 1806.  Immediately use the money and letters of introduction provided by the Williams to get set up. Until finally striking gold on Sept 15th of the same year, this find allowed him to begin throwing fabulous balls and parties. The profits, and socializing , along with the contacts in England allowed Allan to weasel his way into the vacant governors position. During the subsequent months he met with misfortune when a historic bad guy who had committed a murder attacked him. He was lost in the woods for weeks as a local wise woman tended his wounds. Upon his haggard return to the colony he discovered that he had ended the wave of terror that was sweeping the colony, and that he was thought dead. The officials and people saw him as a hero plucked from the gates of hell. In the following months he was established as governor of the colony of Cape Breton.
