Clothing

Hangkerim people is very proud of their waives and textiles, and are proud to use them.  Today most Hangkerimre use pants, both male and female, and there is a denim like textile which was invented in Australia by a Dutch settler that has become very popular around the world and Hangkerim is not an exception, even textile factories in Hangkerim produce one of this finest "denim".

Pants styles are very variate in Modern days, as well as the textiles used: cotton, wool, and other natural and artificial fibers.  But the real characteristic piece of cloth fron Hangkerim is the YU\LAM~CU^.  Depending on the Vung, the region, the ocupation, wealth of the person, and the occation, the use and style of the Yulamcu is different.

Yulamcu are like ruanas or ponchos colourful weaved with designs from abstrac geometric figures to whole landcapes.  In the colder Andean lands are heavier and large, in hotter lowlands are lighter and shorter.  Yulamcu are usually dressed with belts.

Some other clothing pieces are shirts and jackets, T-shirts, robes, skirts, and almost any kind of clothing known in OTL.  For the feet Hangkerimuse shoes, sandals, bots or carried bare.  After Hangkerim is located in a tropical mountain region, and Modern Hangkerim has many influences, there are many clothing styles, but Yulamcu are the most characteristic.

Jewelry

Earrings, noserings, and almost any part of the body except genitals have been covered by gold or sylver.  Gold have no commercial value in Hangkerim society, gold and sylver has been more symbols and amulets as representation of the Sun and the Moon which are the guardians of the Earth, then gold and sylver adornments are the guardians of the one who use them.  Gold and sylver have never been cheap but after those metals adquired an important value in international transactions, have become expensive adornments and in the present days most Hangkerims will use just small pieces of gold and sylver on their bodies.  Spanish filigree has replaced most of the traditional gold and sylver craftsmanship.

Tatoos

Scars are not common in modern or medieval Hangkerim, but scares were used by some of the ancient pre-Hangkerim tribes of the first kingdom.
